Misted, Cracked and Failed Double Glazing
When the seal around a double glazed unit fails, moisture can enter between the panes and create misting, condensation or a cloudy appearance. We can assess the existing frame, measure the glass accurately and arrange a replacement unit to suit the opening.
We also replace cracked or damaged double glazed units. Where the frame and surrounding components remain serviceable, replacing the glass unit can be a practical way to restore the window without unnecessary replacement of the complete frame.

Replacement units need to match the size, thickness and glazing requirements of the existing window. We take the relevant measurements and consider the type of glass required for the location. Safety glass may be required in certain positions, while other windows may benefit from obscured or specialist glass.
